Welcome friends of Joe Martuscello!!

I have created this Blog as a resource for information about our friend Joe Martuscello. What started out a few weeks ago as what we all thought was a simple kidney stone, turned out to be something much more serious. In addition to the rather large kidney stone in his left kidney, doctors also found a tumor. Surgery for removal of the kidney is scheduled for Friday Feb 10, 2006.

With such a great number of family and friends to communicate with, Vicki and Joe agreed that this would be a good way to keep all of you updated on Joe's progress during the course of the coming weeks. Speaking with each and every one of you individually would be quite taxing.

Please stop by here every few days to catch up on the latest news, photographs and comments from Vicki and Joe.

Keep Joe and his family in your prayers.

Paul and Maureen Cassarino

Dear Paul,

Thanks for doing this. I play trombone with Joe in Papa Joe's Crawfish Stew. He has also been a tremendous help in getting my son up to speed as a soccer referee. We are praying for Joe every day.

Paul & Maureen,

This is a great source of information & support for friends who want to keep in touch with Joe's progress. This is also one of the positive things that technology has created by having such a site.

I would like to suggest that every time someone logs on, we say a prayer for the Martuscellos and send them good vibes for Joe's speedy treatment with magnificent results!

Thank you for keeping us informed & inspired!!

What to say?? My family has grown up with the Martuscello's; our girls have been friends for years, many soccer & Lacrosse games, sleep overs, just a lot of laughs and our son's although a year apart, played soccer together and also enjoyed alot of wonderful times. Alot of years together and more to come I'm sure!

Vicki, Joe, Gina and Tommy: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Call anytime if you need anything! I've been wanting to call, but know that you have a lot to deal with so please know we are thinking of you always! Love to all of you - the Leckinger Family (and Jimmy too)!!

Vicki, Joe, Gina and Tommy,

Our love and prayers are with all of you. You are constantly in our thoughts and we pray that God will touch all of you with his loving hands and touch Joe with his healing hands.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do, and thank you Paul for creating this site and taking some of the pressure to answer phone calls and e-mails off of the family.

Our love and prayers,
Bob and Kathi Ryan

Ny brother is a very important person. He is very much loved and admired, as evidenced by all of these thoughts and writings. Vicki is a strong women, who will fight for him and their children. How can they lose? Joe also has his brother and sisters behind him. We are here for him, all the way. "I can't get no satisfaction, but I try, but I try..."

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move.

The Bible
Matthew 17:20

Move that mountain, Joe! We are praying for you and your family...
